Quantity Surveying

Feasibility Studies and Appraisals – Assessing the cost implications of developments on site and advising on the cost of alternative designs.

Life Cycle Costing/Value Engineering – Preparing budget estimates and cost plans using established cost planning techniques such as value engineering and life cycle costing to achieve value for money.

Advice on Tendering – Selecting the best method of procurement and advising on contractor selection.

Cost Management – Preparing cashflow forecasts and valuations for interim payments, assessing the cost of variations, preparing cost reports, and negotiating and agreeing the final account.

Mechanical and Electrical Services Cost Control – As buildings have become more intelligent with an increasing proportion of Mechanical and Electrical Services content and cost, our clients have sought our advice on the cost control of this element of their projects. We have therefore built up the capacity to appraise Services Engineers’ drawings and specifications and evaluate their designs in terms of value for money.

Civil Engineering Cost Control – We have built up an expertise over the years for the cost contol of civil engineering projects including cost planning, procurement, negotiating and agreeing variations and final accounts; and advising on contractual claims.
